What I’ve Been Up To

Woah. It has been awhile since I last posted!! :)) Well, I have been quite busy pursuing my dream – to be an interior designer. Juggling work and school isn’t easy at all, mind you. Really happy though.. behind sleepless nights and stress from work and expectations, I feel really blessed. 🙂

Just to share, here are some of my school plates so far.

What do you think? Do you think I could excel in interior design? Haha 😛 Learning one step at a time. 😀

Goodbye Social Life

I’d love to have a clone right now. She could do my 3 plates for EPD (Elements and Principles of Design), and I could do the rest of my plates all due next week (Mechanical Drawing, Freehand Drawing and Color Theory). Ugh. I must admit that I truly enjoy learning the steps and doing the homework, but the time it takes to do is quite *(*%^&!! 😐 It took 6 hours just doing a single plate for freehand drawing, and another 6 hours for mechanical drawing. I haven’t slept properly this whole week, only resting around 2-3 hours per day but the heavy load bothers me even in my dreams.

It would be a lot easier for me if I could quit my job though. Work in the office is piling up and the worse part is, my parents expect and demand that I be a working student. If only I wasn’t working, I would have lotsa time to concentrate on design and plates and I would have so more time to sleep at night. Booo. 😦

I feel exhausted and burnt out. Gonna take a nap for now. Zzzzz.

Just One of the Many Blessings

It has been raining since last night, and while driving my way home from school I realized I am truly blessed. There were people cramped up in one part of Edsa waiting for a jeep to pass by, while I was comfortable in our car, not wet, air conditioned and comfortable.

These are just some of the things I fail to thank God for everyday. Thank you Lord! 🙂

Be Inspired

It’s amazing how God works through our lives. I was about to let go of this dream. I wasn’t sure I could excel and I know I would not be blessed or supported in this field I chose to be in. But God is working. He made a way. Now I’m taking up Interior Design, very much fulfilled in every task asked of us as ID students, and very much supported by my parents.

I AM BLESSED. 🙂

Always keep faith and never lose hope! Dream big and work hard. 🙂

Be a Breath of Fresh Air

“Do everything without complaining or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe” Phil 2:14-15

A verse shared by Rick Warren in on of his tweets. He said, “Be a fresh air in this polluted society, as if you spend as much time praying as you do complaining, you’d have a lot less to complain about.” True indeed. I have a lot to learn. 🙂

An Act of Kindness

“Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have with one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And all of these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.” Colossians 3:12-14

While having my devotion on the topic of kindness, I was turned to this verse of the bible. Wow. I had a huge fight with my parents today, and this was something I needed. Thank you Lord. 🙂
